1.1. Information generated when you visit a website displaying ATO MOBI
Collection: Via the ATO MOBI LIMITED technology, we automatically collect personal information when you visit websites of our customers displaying ATO MOBI. The information collected via the ATO MOBI LIMITED technology may concern information about IP address, operating system, browser type, device type, information about the webpage, the time when and during which you visited the webpage of our customers, the inviews of ATO MOBI LIMITED (registration of the fact whether ATO MOBI LIMITED available on the customer’s website appears on your screen), referring URLs, image URLs, ATO MOBI technology statistics (e.g. reading progress, reading time, how much percent of the content is read, how many words and images you read, how long you stay on the webpage) and other information normally transmitted in HTTP/HTTPS requests.
Aim: We collect the abovementioned information to generate certain statistics. The statistical data generated with the ATO MOBI LIMITED technology provide us with information about how the articles on websites of our customers are read. This information helps website owners analyze what content users are interested. Besides, ATO MOBI recommends more proper news content and advertisements (“ads”) to you when you visit a website displaying ATO MOBI LIMITED, this based on the aforementioned personal information via which we can understand your interests and which reflect your preferences.
1.2. Information generated when you click on a news feed or advertisement in the ATO MOBI LIMITED frame
Collection: When you actively interact with the ATO MOBI LIMITED frame on our customers’ websites, we automatically collect personal information about how the Service is used (including how our news recommendation services and ad services displayed in ATO MOBI LIMITED are used). This information may concern information about IP address, operating system, browser type, device type, information about the webpage, the time when and during which you visited the webpage of our advertising customers, referring URLs, ad information if an ad is displayed to a user, the type of information from ATO MOBI LIMITED actively interacted with (clicked on ) and other information normally transmitted in HTTP/HTTPS requests including event information such as system crashes or other error information.
Aim: We collect the abovementioned information to generate certain statitics, for example to display how many users visit our customers’ websites, or to show which webpages on our customers’ websites have been viewed. This all provides our customers with the opportunity to better manage their websites.] Besides, ATO MOBI recommends more proper news content and advertisements to you when you visit a website displaying ATO MOBI LIMITED, this based on the aforementioned personal information via which we can understand your interests and which reflect your preferences.
We may share your personal information with third parties (i) where they are subcontractors; (ii) to comply with legislation, to carry out a contract with the user or to defend ATO MOBI against any type of harm. Please find an elaborate explanation under ‘further information’.
We transfer your personal information outside of the European Union, in order to be able to provide our users with the Service. The personal information may be transferred to countries which provide an adequate level of protection or, where this is not the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. 3. YOUR CHOICES REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION
3.1. Data Retention
Unless stated otherwise in section 1 for a specific category of personal information, as you are a user using ATO MOBI within the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we will retain your information for maximum one day, as, ATO MOBI shall remove your personal information on a daily basis.
3.2. Your rights
In as far as imposed by applicable laws, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of or restriction of processing of your personal information. Besides, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal information and you may be entitled to request data portability. Please contact us at taowenming@atomobi.com if you wish to exercise your rights. Please be aware that we will not be able to delete any content you have shared with third parties.
You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing performed by ATO MOBI with a supervisory authority.
4. SECURITY AND STORAGE OF INFORMATION
ATO MOBI cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
5. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
The Service operates on third party websites and may contain links to third party websites of our business partners, advertisers, social media sites, and our customers may post links to third party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, or browse on our customers’ websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy notices and policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies. Please check the individual policies before you submit any information to those websites.
6. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any changes to this Privacy Notice, we will change the "Last Revision" date below and will post the updated Privacy Notice on this page. However, in case the modifications are significant, we will provide you with a more prominent notice. Continuing to use our Service after we publish changes to this Privacy Notice means that you have consulted and understood the changes, unless if the modification would reduce your rights. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Notice without asking for your consent.
